The Museum comes to Room 9

How lucky were we last Tuesday when Nicki offered to come to Room 9 to save us all getting wet when we were due to walk to the Museum.

Nicki shared lots of information about the glorious stained glass window that you find at our very own Nelson Provincial Museum.  The window portrays New Zealand's native birds and animals and Nicki explained how the window was made, by following a number of very intricate processes.

We then chose one of the images from the window and copied it onto black cartridge paper before cutting shapes inside it to create our own stained glass window.  Thanks Nicki for a really fun session.
